Alana De La Garza is an amazing actress who has left a lasting impression on the small screen. The parents of De La Garza were from Ireland and Mexico. Her birthplace was in Columbus, Ohio, on December 26 in 1976. In no time she left Ohio to move to Texas to pursue her degree in physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay long in Texas prior to moving to Florida, Orlando. She was in Orlando for various roles ranging in local independent films as well as international commercials. Even though she had small parts, the actress quickly realized her passion for performing. After that, she relocated to New York in 2001 and landed her very first role in the role of Rosa Santos on All My Children A daytime soap. Throughout the first decade of 2000, she played minor roles on JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. The first time she had a major role in a series was in the 2004 short-lived drama The Mountain. De La Garza, who played Maria Serrano on The Mountain was lucky to be able to appear with a variety of famous TV actors, such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget and Mitch. Milano. She has a Italian father as well as a brother Cory whom is 10 year younger than her. Her family was very strict and spiritual one. Milano started her acting career at seven when her babysitter took her to an acting audition. With more than 1000 applicants they were selected to be one of only four.
