Aubrey Plaza born June 26 1984, is an actress and comedian known for her deadpan comedy. April Ludgate plays her on Parks and Recreation. In the Jeannie Tate Show her character made her first web-series debut following her work in sketch comedy and improv at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. Her next appearance was in Judd Apatow's Funny People and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World at the end of her career. It is fitting to celebrate her birth this day. Aubrey Christina Plaza is the daughter of Bernadette Plaza who is an attorney and David Plaza, a financial specialist. Her birthplace was in Wilmington Delaware. She is the daughter of Puerto Rican parents and an English-born mother from Ireland. Plaza received her education from an all girls Catholic school in 2002 as well as the Tisch School of the Arts located at New York University in 2006. When she was an incoming senior at high school, she was a participant as a part of the Wilmington Drama League shows and held the position of president for the student council. Plaza had a stroke 2004, while she was studying at a the college. She was diagnosed with expressive aphasia, and experienced briefly the paralysis. Her recovery is complete. Since 2004, Plaza has been doing sketch and improv comedy at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York City. The New York location has seen Plaza been performing stand-up comedians at The Improv as well as the Laugh Factory. Plaza appeared in E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street and The Jeannie Tate Show as Robin Gibney as well as the first episode of Terrible Decisions with Ben Schwartz. She played the Princess, a satirical sci fi role on CollegeHumor Troopers. Plaza began playing saxophones on Cassorla's Bona Fide (2014). In 2012, she made her first appearance on the saxophone during Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings. In 2016, Plaza appeared on HarmonQuest as Hawaiian Coffee a gnome. She was Aaron Burr and Cat Adams, respectively, in Drunk History. Criminal Minds, a TV series. It was her first time returning to her role on Season 12 of the show.
